The Plot In You are hitting the road across North America next spring. The Ohio band have announced ‘World Tour: Part 1’, a 27-date headlining run that kicks off March 12th at The Factory in St. Louis and wraps April 18th at The Pinnacle in Nashville, with Canadian stops in Laval and Toronto.
General on-sale begins Friday, October 30th, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. A Knotfest Premium presale runs from October 28th at 2 p.m. ET through October 29th at 10 p.m. local time. Ticket prices and support acts have yet to be announced.
The run follows two busy years on the road. The Plot In You joined Bring Me the Horizon on all three legs of the ‘Ascension Program’ tour, played major festivals and headlined their own shows in North America, Europe and Australia.
It also follows the release of ‘The Plot In You’, the band’s sixth album, out July 10th via Fearless Records. Also known as ‘The Volumes Series’, it gathers the four EPs the band released over the last few years into 12 songs, plus one previously unreleased track, ‘Carved’. It debuted at No. 48 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and reached No. 27 in Australia and on the U.K. Rock & Metal Albums chart.
Several of those songs found big audiences on their own. ‘Left Behind’ has passed 100 million Spotify streams and ‘Divide’ more than 56 million, while Revolver named ‘Forgotten’ one of its “6 Best New Songs Right Now.”
The Plot In You formed in 2010 in Hancock County, Ohio, as a side project for vocalist Landon Tewers, then of Before Their Eyes. The current lineup also includes guitarist Josh Childress, bassist Ethan Yoder and drummer Michael Cooper, who joined in 2021. Before this era, the band released ‘First Born’ (2011), ‘Could You Watch Your Children Burn’ (2013), ‘Happiness in Self Destruction’ (2015), ‘Dispose’ (2018) and ‘Swan Song’ (2021).
