Sonic Temple 2027 Reveals Full Lineup: Iron Maiden, Blink-182, Korn and the Return of Faith No More

Sonic Temple 2027 reveals its full lineup: Iron Maiden, Blink-182, Korn and Faith No More, May 13-16 in Columbus, Ohio.

Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival has unveiled the full lineup for its 2027 edition, set for May 13-16 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Nearly 150 artists will play across five stages, led by Iron Maiden, Blink-182, Korn, Falling in Reverse, $UICIDEBOY$ and Faith No More. Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) had already confirmed Iron Maiden as its first headliner on October 16.

Thursday, May 13, brings Blink-182, The Offspring and Turnstile; Friday, May 14, Iron Maiden, A Perfect Circle and Alice in Chains; Saturday, May 15, Falling in Reverse, A Day to Remember and Beartooth, who will be playing a hometown show; and Sunday, May 16, Korn, $UICIDEBOY$ and Faith No More.

Iron Maiden’s set is part of the 2027 North American leg of ‘Run For Your Lives’, the band’s 50th anniversary tour: 16 shows that open April 14 in Tacoma, Washington, and close with Sonic Temple on May 14 and Maryland’s Boardwalk Rock on May 16. Bullet For My Valentine, also on the Columbus bill, will open the arena dates. “We can’t get everywhere but we can try!” bassist Steve Harris said when the run was announced.

DWP bills the Faith No More appearance as a “rare U.S. reunion show.” The band hasn’t played live since 2016; its planned tour was canceled in 2021 after Mike Patton stepped back to focus on his mental health. The comeback starts January 15 at Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium with System of a Down, who will also share the bill in Australia and New Zealand, and continues in June at Rock im Park, Rock am Ring and Poland’s Mystic Festival. Back in June, bassist Bill Gould said: “We’re definitely going to be in South America, and Australia, and the US.”

Among the special appearances, Ministry will play Columbus as part of its farewell tour, marking the band’s final show in the city. Al Jourgensen has announced ‘Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery)’ as the group’s last album, due October 30 on Cleopatra Records, along with a European farewell tour with Die Krupps running April 2 to May 1, 2027, to be followed by a U.S. run. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished,” he said.

Organizers are also billing 40th anniversary sets from Meshuggah and Skid Row, and the return to the stage of Ghostemane, who released ‘Zero Day’, his first single in five years, in August. Circa Survive will play an exclusive Ohio reunion show, Castle Rat will make one of just two U.S. appearances in 2027 and Her Last Sight will make its U.S. debut. The weekend also includes reunions from Forever the Sickest Kids, Palisades, Cute Is What We Aim For and The Color Morale, rare sets from Relient K, OTEP and Impending Doom, and an appearance by composer Bear McCreary.

The rest of the lineup features The Prodigy, Knocked Loose, The All-American Rejects, Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Till Lindemann (billed as “The Voice of Rammstein”), Jimmy Eat World, Primus, Mastodon, The Pretty Reckless, Poppy, Clutch, Testament, GWAR, Fear Factory, Lacuna Coil, Blood Incantation, Helmet, Carpenter Brut and The Black Dahlia Murder. Max Cavalera pulls double duty with Soulfly and Nailbomb. Mexico is represented by The Warning, the Monterrey trio of the Villarreal sisters, and Japan by HANABIE.

The 2026 edition drew a sold-out, record 184,000 fans, with My Chemical Romance, Shinedown, Bring Me the Horizon and Tool headlining. In 2025, DWP extended its partnership with Historic Crew Stadium by five years, keeping the festival in Columbus through at least 2030. Sonic Temple launched in 2019 as the successor to Rock on the Range, was not held from 2020 to 2022 because of the pandemic and returned in 2023.

“Sonic Temple has become one of those special weekends where the whole rock community comes together,” said Chamie McCurry, general manager of DWP. “We build each lineup to celebrate the artists who shaped this music, the bands driving it forward, and the next generation that will define it.”

All pass types are on sale now, including single-day and four-day GA, GA Plus, VIP and premium experiences such as Rock Royalty and the Columbus Owners Club, with layaway available for as low as $1 down.
