Currents will tour the U.S. and Canada in February and March 2027 in support of ‘Our Fates Lie in Tandem’, their fourth full-length album. The Connecticut metalcore outfit will be joined by New Zealand’s Vana, special guests Stick To Your Guns and Dreamwake. On the first three dates, in Boston, Montreal and Toronto, Vanna will play in place of Stick To Your Guns.
The 23-date run kicks off February 19th at Boston’s House of Blues and wraps March 21st at The Dome at Oakdale in Wallingford, Connecticut, the band’s home state, with stops in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and Philadelphia along the way. VIP and artist presales are available now through Soundrink and end Thursday, November 5th, at 10 p.m. local time. General on-sale begins Friday, November 6th, at 10 a.m. local.
‘Our Fates Lie in Tandem’ arrives February 12th, a week before the tour begins, and marks the band’s Rise Records debut after three albums with SharpTone. The 11-track album was previewed October 30th with lead single ‘Retributioner’ and its music video. According to the band, the song “is about how our world smothers the righteous.”
